Preston Sikh Sewa Society UK distributing Langar (Hot vegetarian food and refreshments) to ALL regardless of religion, gender, age or status every Saturday evening. They serve the Langar on the small outdoor market from 7.00 pm and then visit the streets of Preston town centre to serve the homeless people in all weather conditions, serving up to 50 meals in order to fight hunger together. Thermal items such as Sleeping Bags, Hats, Scarfs, Gloves and Thermal Socks are also distributed each week. If any of the attendees at the free kitchens have concerns regarding their Special Dietary Needs or Allergies, they must speak to a member of our Team.
